New Calabria venue added to free venues guide

discover calabria
Discover Calabria is the newest venue to be added to our Where 2 Be for Free guide

Are you looking for a pavilion that serves up Italian nibblies and lets you learn more about the Calabria region? How about a pavilion that boasts it has no line-ups? Well, we’ve been contacted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vancouver and they advise us the Discover Calabria pavilion might be the right one for you.

The venue is free and is open to the public who will learn more about Calabria’s cultural heritage, economic system, investment opportunities and local products. They will be able to sample food specialties, view artisans plying their crafts, and view one-of-a-kind products. Seminars are free of charge and will educate visitors on Calabria’s tourism, Mediterranean cuisine and the health benefits of red wine (previous registration is required, please contact iccbc@iccbc.com). Calabria is a region in southern Italy, south of Naples, located at the "toe" of the Italian peninsula. For further information and a detailed program please visit: www.iccbc.com or phone 604 682 1410. Read more about the venue by clicking here. Once you’ve paid a visit, be sure to leave us a comment and let everyone know if this pavilion is HOT or NOT.

A warm and friendly venue. Showcases food & wine, fashion, jewellery and craftwork from the Calabria region of Italy. It is a smaller venue, but with no line ups and they have different workshops and seminars happening during the Games. Worth a visit!
